A different Durgapujo - with a different Pikachu and a different Ash

During the indefinitely long vacation after final semester exams, while waiting for the Joining Letter, Ashlyn aka Ash’s mind suddenly gets caught up in a dilemma. With Durgapuja nearing through the kaleidoscope of Kolkata, a part of her wished for a faraway posting before the Puja because the vivid recollection of last year’s Durgotsav would undoubtedly keep peeping through her mind.. North Kolkata – South Kolkata “Pujo porikroma” .. the endless walks.. to unplanned directions, the rain reluctant to cease to pour, exploration of Uttor Kolkata lanes in afterglow,  the food – with Pikachu..& the unfulfilled plan for Maddox Square which was going to remain unrealized this year too, in accordance with Ash’s prediction which Pikachu was in no mood to accept then.. and now it is Pikachu who is already staying away from home for higher studies..she can’t manage a leave for Durgapujo this time..
Deep down in her heart, Ash knows that she would be badly missing Pikachu if she has to stay here and catch glimpses of Sharadiya’s Kolkata..
But the other half of her mind wishes for delay in the arrival of her JL.. Ash yearns to stay here till Diwali.. Who knows, if Pikachu “thunderbolts” with a surprise visit.. Ash couldn’t miss the chance at any cost..to catch up with Pikachu again..to embrace..and crack the world’s silliest jokes and annoy Pikachu with her very own hogwash..
